I did try to update this review, but not sure what happened to it. So I did wear them for 12 hours at work and then the next day I tried to wear them again. Surprisingly my ankles were only slightly sore. The average person is not going to try to wear them for a 12 hour shift, but I just wanted to see how they would do. I use them when I walk on my treadmill for an extra exercise and if you only use them for an hour or two each day, I haven’t personally noticed any pain in my ankles unless they sit bad too long. But overall, they are a great buy and an easy way to add a little exercise into your daily life .So I love these! They are almost perfect! I’m an RN and I wore them for my full 12 hr shift. Now, I did feel them especially by the end. The shape of the weights press on your ankle bones quite uncomfortably if you don’t have them just right. I still had them on for the 12 hrs and my ankles don’t hurt this morning. I’m going to put them on again for my next shift tonight and see how sore I am. They are just heavy enough to add some weight without killing your legs. I’m very pleased. They get a 5 star just for the fact that the Velcro is snug and they don’t move all over and jiggle! I might try another set that is rounded more on the edges of the weights, but I’m very happy I got these and feel they are a great workout! And you can hide them under clothes. Even tighter clothes
