Great mat. It's grippy and it stays put. It don't slide. It repels water pretty good and has not absorbed into it. I have senior large breed dogs so I bought this to put in front of the back door to give them not grip when coming inside Brevard they were slipping especially when it's raining. They have not slipped anymore and I have had no issue with it sliding out from under them. It's held up great to their toenails and they lay on it while I'm in the kitchen.
