ExcelenteOur experience with SOLE has been a trying one. We ordered our SOLE E35 elliptical in Aug 2018. The delivery and set up crew had no real concept of how to put this machine together. I stress and caution your $300 plus assembly fee is a trick! The price does not come with security of the machine being put together properly. We have had the machine repaired a few times and then replaced all together due to the damage done from using a machine that was improperly assembled. This was all the fault of SOLE. We will never buy their products again EVER!Thankfully the repair guy Dave Stamets who is subcontracted out from SOLE was a former employee of the company who manufactured this machine. Dave Stamets with Cascadia install LLC was not only able to fix the problems, he was able to order the correct parts for the repair. SOLE has had many people pass me off to resolve the issues. They show major incompetence. When the first machine was delivered it was assembled by two guys who had no real idea of how this worked. They used an owners manual. Many parts were missing and many parts were left over not to mention screws were used for wrong spots. I complained to SOLE when ordering a replacement machine. SOLE was so uninvested that they sent the same idiots to assemble the new machine.Needless to say we were very specific about the repair guy. Dave Stamets is definitely the guy you want to have come fix SOLES mess.Thank you Dave for your efforts and insight on how this really works. I would NEVER suggest SOLE in any way!! However i will suggest Dave Stamets from Cascadia Install LLC if you need repairs and need to exercise your warranty! Its been almost a whole year later and as of a week ago... my SOLE elliptical is working for now thanks to Dave and the new parts he ordered for us. BUYER BEWARE!Jason LeachAssembly instructions are not in the simplest format and when a part was described that wasn't in the picture I called customer service. The instructions read, "ASSEMBLY STEP 1, step 3; Locate the Console Mast (12) and Console Mast Cover (95)..." There's no part #95 in the diagram. The Elliptical also arrived with a stripped bolt. After calling customer service it took a week to get a reply from tech support (which didn't explain the difference between the written word and the picture). And after a week of waiting I went to the hardware store and got a replacement bolt.Tech wrote, "It no longer has a mask cover. It states it later in the manual." I am still waiting for a reply to, "Page # please. I have read the manual cover to cover and I'm not seeing where it says that."A great machine, designed and engineered with great attention to detail, and almost entirely quiet! There is only one minor glitch, and that is in the assembly manual, specifically page 6, Step 4, where the three sets of fasteners (screws & bolts) are depicted. The good news: you have actually received precisely the number of fasteners you will require to complete this machine. The bad news: you may entirely disregard every word of the written descriptions of these fasteners, as they bear no resemblance to reality. A much easier way to identify which fasteners go where is as follows: the (pointy) sheet metal screws (of which there are 8, each measuring 12mm in length) always seat into plastic; the four short 10mm-long machine screws are used exclusively to mount the two incline cover brackets (part no. 21) to the incline rail assembly (part no. 2, identified only in the illustration for Step 1); and the twenty-three 15mm-long machine screws always seat into threaded holes in metal. Actually measuring the length of these fasteners with a millimeter rule will go far toward removing any confusion. And, for those cursed with only 20-20 vision and perfect eyesight, a magnifying glass will greatly improve your understanding of the assembly diagrams. In any case, forget calling Sole's technical support staff, at least one of whom has no conception of this problem, cannot differentiate between fastener types, and glibly refuses to become informed. And oh yes, a final comment – assembling this machine with a trusted partner of some mechanical awareness will greatly reduce both frustration and assembly time: my bride and I finished ours over the course of two days at roughly 2.5 hours per day.Bought this machine to replace a cheap generic elliptical that I used for 10 years. A year and a half into using the Sole elliptical on a daily basis the resistance cable snapped. I weigh 140 and I am not training for marathons or crazy cardio results. I typically use interval training which alternates between heavy and light resistance - not what I would consider excessive wear and tear. The company was very good about shipping replacement parts, but taking the machine apart and replacing the cable is a decent amount of work and time. So.......here it is again, 3 years from the date of purchase and the resistance cable has broken for the second time. Would not recommend this elliptical for the money. I will opt for a cheaper brand in the future. The elliptical is pretty much what I expected it to be - easy and comfortable to use. The only issue is it will periodically start making a squeaking or thumping noise, so we have to adjust it/re-level it so it stops.I might have given it 5 stars but it has a slight flaw. If you sweat enough while holding the heart monitor grips the sweat will run down the tubing and drip off on to the circuit board and short it out.I really like the eliptical. It is solid and quite. . Delivery was great and i put it together in a few hours. I have one issue with the chest strap not working calls to support and no one answers the phone! Minor issue but have been on hold for several calls for over 40 minutesbefore u hung up. Not impressed with their supportUpdate 7/24/20: got in touch with their support and they are sending me a new strap. Thank you customer service
