First, they often ship the boxes separately and on different days. They should tell you this may happen to avoid you calling in saying that they did not deliver a box (or worse discovering this with a million pieces on the floor). The instructions are actually pretty decent and detailed. The only problem is that they do not tell you how to load the weights. How you stack the weights does matter so you will want to pay attention to avoid having to undo many steps to re stack the weights. You will need to use plain logic but I figured the weights should be stacked with the deeper "U" grove on the bottom forming an upside down U facing the front of the machine. Otherwise, it is a very solid machine with tons of exercise options for a vacation rental or second home. Probably not a great fit for super tall people (6'3 and above should consider a different option in my opinion). Again, solid machine and actually a nice challenge to build.I read the reviews which warned me about how bad the instructions were so I had prepared myself, still, once I got everything unwrapped and could see it all right there in front of me, I almost had an anxiety attack. I told myself, "you don't have to rush through this, pace yourself, you're a smart guy, you'll figure it out." And that's just what I did. I worked on it a couple of hours each day for 5 days with the last day working the longest. It's still too soon to know if this machine is going to last, or if things are quickly going to start breaking down, as there feels like there's a lot of friction with the cables carrying the entire weight load, and if something breaks, it will probably be the cables that are the first to go, but so far so good. They give you several dozen plastic "end caps" and there's nothing in the instructions about them at all. I used some of them to cover the bolt nuts but there was really no need for them. The worst part is that there are some "bushings," they look like washers but they actually have a sleeve and are designed to slip into holes in some of the heavier parts of the machine, but they just fall out. It's absolutely ridiculous. Those bushings could have been glued in, and why do I still have two of them leftover. It would have saved me a lot of angst had they either glued them in, or at least mentioned them in the instructions, but there isn't a word about them. Now that it's together I do feel a great sense of accomplishment as at first glance I thought I was going to have to return the whole thing which would have been nearly impossible.I wanted to make a gmn in our basement and this really has given me the look and feel of an actual gym. It works great. I love it!Bought this to avoid trips to the gym when the snow starts. Took about 4 hours to put together, everything was well packaged, instructions were a bit complicated and took some figuring out on some of the steps. Only complaint is that there is no way to adjust the seat height, and it's maybe a bit too high for my frame (6'2"). Still for the money, well worth it. High quality materials, feels very solid.I’m 6 feet tall. I can’t extend my hands all the way while doing overhead pull. By the way no chain attached.Initially the delivery was missing one box, customer service tracked down my package and it came next day. The machine itself is AWESOME!! Really solid built and high quality. Assembly was pretty easy because the additional video online really walked me through assembling each area. Took me two days to put together. I did the machine first and the pully system the second day. All in took me about 5 or 6 hours to assemble but I took my time to make sure I had every step right. If you are on the fence, don't be this machine feels and performs way better than expected. Great buy and great new piece of equipment in my home gym. It really does a fantastic range of exercises!Very good equipment for moneygreat service response time took me 2 days to assemble myself since im an idiot made a great gift for my bro hes a weight nut hes very happy on the endlessness of this amazing machine
